Acceptable Use Policy
Effective: May 21, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes the kinds of activity that are not allowed on Claycable. It supplements section 3 of the Terms of Service. Violating this policy can result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, removal of content, and — for severe or illegal activity — a report to the appropriate authorities.
1. Illegal content and activity
You may not use Claycable to create, train on, store, or distribute:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises minors. We have zero tolerance. Suspected CSAM is reported to NCMEC and the relevant authorities.
- Content that facilitates terrorism, violent extremism, or human trafficking
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, including realistic fakes of identifiable people
- Content that violates applicable laws in your jurisdiction or ours (Ontario, Canada)
2. Harm to people
You may not use the platform to:
- Generate or train models that provide step-by-step assistance for creating weapons capable of mass casualties (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear)
- Plan or coordinate physical violence, self-harm, or harassment against a specific person
- Impersonate real people, organisations, or government entities in a way that causes harm
- Generate medical, legal, or psychiatric advice presented as coming from a licensed professional
3. Security and platform integrity
You may not:
- Transmit malware, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful code
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform without prior written authorisation
- Bypass authentication, rate limits, billing, or access controls
- Attempt to extract, recover, or reconstruct the weights of base models or other users' adapters
- Use the platform to develop, train, or improve competing fine-tuning or agent-hosting infrastructure by exploiting access you obtained as a Claycable user
4. Spam, scams, and deception
You may not use Claycable to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or other automated outreach
- Operate phishing infrastructure or generate phishing content
- Run financial scams, romance scams, or fake-investment operations
- Deploy agents that misrepresent themselves as human in contexts where the user has a reasonable expectation of speaking with a person (customer support, regulated industries)
5. Intellectual property
You may not:
- Upload, train on, or distribute content that infringes a third party's copyright, trademark, or other rights without permission
- Use Claycable to systematically scrape or reproduce copyrighted works for the purpose of creating a substitute product
If you believe content on Claycable infringes your rights, send a notice to legal@claycable.com with the URL, a description of the work, and your contact details. We respond to valid notices within 7 business days.
6. Public-facing agents
If you deploy an agent publicly (for example, via a deploy-token URL or embed widget), you are the operator and you accept responsibility for what it does. We expect you to:
- Clearly disclose that users are interacting with an AI
- Apply content filtering appropriate to your audience
- Provide a way for users to report harmful outputs
- Take down agents that demonstrate consistent harmful behavior
7. Automated abuse and resource exhaustion
You may not:
- Run training jobs or inference loops for the sole purpose of exhausting your free credits
- Operate infrastructure that intentionally maximises platform cost without legitimate use
- Coordinate multiple accounts to evade rate limits or pricing
8. Enforcement
We may, at our discretion:
- Issue a warning
- Remove specific content, adapters, or agents
- Suspend or terminate your account
- Retain logs and content as needed for investigation and legal compliance
- Cooperate with law enforcement when legally required or when life and safety are at risk
For severe violations (illegal content, large-scale fraud, infrastructure attacks) we will act immediately and without prior notice.
9. Reporting
To report a violation of this AUP, email abuse@claycable.com with as much detail as you can share — the agent URL or account, what you observed, and any context. CSAM reports go to the same address and we will route them to the appropriate authorities.
10. Updates
We may update this AUP as the platform and threat landscape evolve. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform.
